Your Lafayette Bus Rental With Popular Amenities
Different trips call for different setups. A 15- to 50-passenger party bus typically comes loaded with a full-length bar area, color-changing LED lighting, a Bluetooth sound system, flat-panel TVs, and wraparound perimeter seating — the right fit when the ride itself is part of the celebration. A minibus brings reclining seats, powerful A/C, and overhead storage, which makes it a natural pick for wedding guest shuttles between hotels on Pinhook Road and ceremony venues across Lafayette Parish.
Full-size charter buses add undercarriage luggage bays and onboard restrooms — critical for longer hauls to New Orleans or multi-stop corporate itineraries across the Atchafalaya Basin corridor.
Amenities vary by vehicle and provider. The fastest way to match the right bus to your specific trip is to use the online quote tool or call 833-458-7001 — compare options, pictures, and packages all at once. Check out what amenities come standard on party buses to go in informed.

See Lafayette Party Bus Options in One Place
Because group transportation in Lafayette is genuinely tricky to shop for on your own. You could spend an afternoon calling individual companies, describing your headcount and itinerary each time, and waiting on callbacks that may or may not line up — or you could fill out one form and see options from a large network of providers in seconds. Partybus-rental.net exists to make the second option the obvious one.
The network covers every corner of Acadiana — from Downtown Lafayette and the Oil Center to Breaux Bridge, Broussard, Youngsville, and Scott. Need a bus for a Cajun Field tailgate on a Saturday, a wedding shuttle between hotels on Kaliste Saloom Road and a venue in Carencro, or a charter bus moving your company's team from Lafayette Regional Airport to an industry event in New Iberia? All of that is findable through one quick search.
Compare vehicle types, packages, and price ranges without picking up the phone if you'd rather not — though questions about options can be directed to 833-458-7001 every day of the year. No obligation. No account.

Lafayette Regional Airport Shuttle Bus Rentals
Lafayette Regional Airport (LFT) (200 Terminal Dr, Lafayette, LA 70508) is a small but increasingly busy facility — and its compact footprint means commercial vehicle staging happens at the curbside pickup area just outside the single terminal's baggage claim exit. The entire airport sees a surge on Sunday evenings when oilfield workers return from offshore rotations, and rideshare availability can thin out quickly during those windows.
For group airport pickups at LFT, the sequence matters: have your group collect luggage and assemble curbside before your bus moves into position — the terminal loop is short and vehicles can't stage indefinitely. A minibus handles groups up to 35 and keeps all the luggage together in overhead and undercarriage storage instead of scattered across multiple rideshares. For larger corporate fly-ins or conference groups, a charter bus eliminates the multi-car coordination entirely and goes straight to your hotel or event venue on Evangeline Thruway.
Review LFT's ground transportation page before your pickup date, and call 833-458-7001 to set up your Lafayette airport shuttle today.

Lafayette Bachelor and Bachelorette Party Bus Rentals
Lafayette is one of the best cities in Louisiana for a bachelor or bachelorette weekend — and the bar and music scene along Jefferson Street and Downtown makes a multi-stop night genuinely fun to plan. The challenge is that Jefferson Street gets crowded on weekend nights, metered parking fills up fast, and rideshare availability after midnight can be unpredictable, especially during festival weekends.
A Lafayette party bus keeps the whole group moving together — from pregame at a private house, to drinks at The Bayou Bar or Tsunami on Jefferson, to late-night dancing at Coyote Club, to a final stop at wherever the night takes you — without anyone splitting off to find parking or waiting 20 minutes for a rideshare. Party buses in the 15–30 passenger range are a strong fit for most bachelorette groups, with LED lighting and a sound system built in. For the full list of bachelor and bachelorette bus options, search online or call 833-458-7001.

Birthday, Sweet 16, and Quinceañera Party Buses in Lafayette
Lafayette's quinceañera and Sweet 16 scene is lively — venues like Acadian Village and private reception halls across Lafayette Parish fill up on weekends, and a party bus arrival gives the birthday honoree an entrance worth remembering. Party buses seating 15 to 50 work for most celebration groups, and you can often request specific exterior colors to match your theme when availability allows.
For adult milestone birthdays — 30th, 40th, 50th — the night typically starts with dinner on Johnston Street or at a Pinhook Road restaurant before hitting Downtown Lafayette bars. Instead of asking guests to figure out parking and leave someone behind the wheel across multiple stops, a single party bus covers the entire evening. The group stays together from the first pickup to the last drop-off, and nobody has to leave early because of a long drive home.
Compare birthday party bus options online or call 833-458-7001 to get pricing for your date in under a minute.

Bus Rentals to Concerts and Live Events in Lafayette
Lafayette's live music calendar runs practically year-round — and the venues that host it range from the intimate to the legitimately massive. Cajundome (444 Cajundome Blvd, Lafayette, LA 70506) is a major indoor arena with capacity up to 13,000, and its parking situation on sellout nights involves long lot walks and a post-show traffic backup on Cajundome Boulevard that can stretch 30–45 minutes before it clears. A charter bus drops your group at the main entrance and comes back to the same point after the show — no lot, no walk, no sitting in the exit queue.
Girard Park hosts large outdoor festivals including Festival International de Louisiane each April, when 300,000+ attendees descend on Downtown Lafayette and street parking becomes essentially nonexistent within a half-mile radius. A party bus picks your group up from one address and handles the downtown drop-off while you enjoy the festival instead of hunting for meters. For smaller club nights at Blue Moon Saloon (215 E Convent St) or Artmosphere, a minibus keeps the group together on the way back without anyone worrying about a ride home at 1am.
Call 833-458-7001 to lock in your event date.

Lafayette Corporate Event Charter Bus Rentals
Lafayette sits at the center of Louisiana's energy corridor, and corporate group travel here tends to run on tight schedules — industry conferences at the CAJUNDOME & Convention Center, vendor events at the Petroleum Club of Lafayette (111 Heymann Blvd), and multi-site company meetings that bounce between the Oil Center and Broussard industrial facilities. A minibus or charter bus handles all of it without asking anyone to navigate an unfamiliar city or fight for parking at each stop.
For conference groups flying into LFT and heading directly to the CAJUNDOME & Convention Center, a charter bus stages at the terminal and moves the whole team in one shot — no rental car line, no caravan coordination, no one arriving late because they missed the exit on Ambassador Caffery Parkway. Executive Sprinter vans are a strong fit for smaller VIP transfers across the Oil Center. Questions about custom corporate shuttle packages and multi-day itineraries can be directed to 833-458-7001.

Private Event Transportation in Lafayette and Acadiana
Lafayette's festival calendar is one of the most packed in the South, and the events that drive the biggest group transportation demand are predictable: Festival International de Louisiane (late April, Downtown Lafayette — 300,000+ attendees across five days), Festivals Acadiens et Créoles (October, Girard Park), and Mardi Gras in Lafayette — a major Mardi Gras celebration outside New Orleans, with parades on Mardi Gras Day that draw enormous crowds along Johnston Street and Ambassador Caffery Parkway.
During those events, street parking near Downtown disappears fast, and rideshare pricing surges as local demand overwhelms supply. A private charter bus or party bus is priced as one quote for your group, drops you near the action, and picks you up when the parade or festival winds down — no surge, no scramble. For family reunions hitting Vermilionville and Acadian Village in the same day, or corporate groups moving between multiple Acadiana locations, a private event charter bus is simply the cleaner option.
Book Festival International dates 2–3 months out minimum. Call 833-458-7001 to start.

Lafayette Prom and Homecoming Party Bus Rentals
Acadiana-area high schools — including Lafayette High School, Comeaux High School, Northside High School, and others across Lafayette Parish — hold proms in a concentrated window from late April through May. That overlap in demand means party buses book out weeks earlier than most parents and students expect. For prom: get your quote by January and book by February if you want first pick of vehicle type and pickup window.
Waiting until March or April almost always means paying more or finding the vehicle you wanted already gone.
Homecoming season in October has similar dynamics — multiple schools scheduling within the same 2–3 week stretch creates a short, sharp demand spike. Partybus-rental.net makes it easy to compare vehicles, plan your date early, and keep the night running on schedule. Check out prom party bus rentals for vehicle options, or call 833-458-7001 now to get pricing before your preferred date fills.

School Field Trips and Group Transportation in Lafayette
Lafayette Parish schools and nearby university groups — including University of Louisiana at Lafayette — regularly use charter buses for field trips, athletic travel, and campus event shuttles. The destinations range from local stops like the Lafayette Science Museum (433 Jefferson St, Lafayette, LA 70501) and Vermilionville Living History Museum (300 Fisher Rd, Lafayette, LA 70508) to longer drives to New Orleans or Baton Rouge for educational programs and competitions.
A charter bus keeps students together, eliminates the parent-volunteer carpool coordination headache, and provides overhead storage for backpacks, instruments, and equipment. For athletic team travel, undercarriage luggage bays handle gear bags without anyone doubling up in cramped back seats. ADA-accessible vehicles are available through the network — mention the need when requesting your quote.
Teachers and trip organizers can compare school event bus options online or call 833-458-7001 any day to put together a custom group package.

Lafayette Sporting Event Charter Bus and Party Bus Rentals
Ragin' Cajuns game days at Cajun Field (201 Reinhardt Dr, Lafayette, LA 70506) are a serious tailgate culture event — the lots open early and the tailgate scene along Reinhardt Drive is half the reason people show up. Cajun Field seats just over 41,000, and on rivalry game days against Louisiana Tech or Appalachian State, Reinhardt Drive and Congress Street back up significantly before kickoff. Parking is available in on-campus lots but fills fast for major games, and post-game exit traffic on Congress Street can be slow.
A charter bus or party bus drops your group at the stadium and gives you the tailgate without the exit crawl — the bus handles the drive back to your hotel or starting point while the post-game traffic clears. The Cajundome hosts UL Lafayette basketball and occasional UFC-style events, with the same parking and exit dynamics applying on sellout nights. For fan groups of 15 or more, a sporting event party bus is the straightforward move.
Get pricing for your game date at 833-458-7001.

Wedding Shuttle Bus Rentals in Lafayette
Lafayette wedding venues are spread across the parish — from waterfront estates along the Vermilion River to restored plantation-style halls in Broussard and Youngsville — which means hotel-to-venue distances for out-of-town guests can easily run 15–25 minutes each way. Without a shuttle, guests are navigating unfamiliar roads in formalwear, parking on uneven grass lots, and trying to figure out Waze on a Saturday night.
A Lafayette wedding shuttle bus stages at the hotel block on Kaliste Saloom Road or Pinhook Road, runs timed departures to the ceremony, and brings guests back after the reception — all on your timeline. Minibuses in the 20–35 passenger range handle most hotel-to-venue runs neatly; larger receptions spread across two hotel blocks may need a second vehicle or staggered shuttle loops. A 14-passenger Sprinter limo is a natural fit for the wedding party itself on the day of the ceremony.
Lock in your wedding date early — spring and fall weekends in Lafayette book fast. Call 833-458-7001 to put together your wedding shuttle plan.

Lafayette Pub Crawl and Bar Hop Bus Rentals
Lafayette's bar scene has real range — from the live Zydeco and Cajun music at Randol's Restaurant and Cajun Dancehall (2320 Kaliste Saloom Rd) to the craft beer taps at Parish Brewing Co. (110 Halbert St, Broussard, LA 70518) and the cocktail bars along Jefferson Street downtown. A multi-stop crawl that hits a couple of breweries in Broussard, circles back to Downtown Lafayette, and ends at a late-night spot on Jefferson is genuinely fun to plan — and a logistical headache without a bus.
A Lafayette pub crawl party bus in the 15–30 passenger range handles the whole loop: picks everyone up from one address, stages near each stop, and delivers the group home at the end of the night. No one is drawing straws for who stays sober, and no one is paying surge pricing for a rideshare at midnight on a Saturday. Search online or call 833-458-7001 to get pricing for your crawl route.

Frequently Asked Questions About Lafayette Party Bus Rentals
How does this website work?
Partybus-rental.net helps you compare bus rental options; it is not the bus company and does not rent, own, or operate vehicles. When you submit the quote form, your trip details go through a booking company so you can review pricing and available vehicles for your date. You compare the options and book through the process shown with your quote.
How much does a party bus cost in Lafayette, Louisiana?
Lafayette party bus rental prices vary by vehicle size, date, and how long you need the bus. Rough ranges to help you plan: Sprinter limos (14 passengers) run $150–$300/hour; small party buses (15–20 passengers) run $175–$350/hour; mid-size party buses (20–30 passengers) run $225–$400/hour; large party buses and minibuses (35–50 passengers) run $275–$475/hour; charter buses (40–56 passengers) run $125–$275/hour or $1,000–$2,200/day. Festival season and prom weekends push rates higher and availability lower — the earlier you book, the better your options.
For pricing on your date, call 833-458-7001 or use the online quote tool. You can have a quote in under a minute. See the party bus prices page for more detail.
What is Partybus-rental.net?
Partybus-rental.net is a quote-comparison website for group transportation — not a bus company and not a motor carrier. It doesn't own vehicles or provide the transportation itself. What it does is make it easy to compare party buses, minibuses, charter buses, and Sprinter vans from a large network of providers serving Lafayette, all in one place.
Think of it as the fast way to see what's available, what it costs, and what fits your group — without spending an afternoon on hold.
What vehicle size should I book for my Lafayette group?
A good rule of thumb: match the vehicle to your confirmed headcount, not your estimated one. A 15–35 passenger minibus works well for wedding shuttles, corporate transfers, and mid-size group outings. Party buses in the 20–30 passenger range are the go-to for bachelorette nights and birthday crawls.
For Cajun Field tailgates, festival groups, or company events with 40+ people, a full-size charter bus is the practical fit. Not sure? Call 833-458-7001 and a support team member can help you match the vehicle to your trip in a few minutes.
You can also browse the bus types guide to compare options side by side.
When is the busiest time of year for party bus rentals in Lafayette?
Three windows drive the biggest demand spikes in Lafayette: Mardi Gras (February–March), Festival International de Louisiane (late April), and prom season (late April–May). Those five or six weeks see significantly more competition for vehicles, especially in the 20–30 passenger party bus range. If your event falls in any of those windows, booking 2–3 months out is the move — not because of a policy, but because availability genuinely gets thin.
Fall festival season around Festivals Acadiens et Créoles in October is the secondary crunch period.
Can a charter bus travel between Lafayette and New Orleans?
Yes — and it's one of the most common long-distance routes in the network. Lafayette to New Orleans runs roughly 135 miles via I-10 East, with a drive time of about 1 hour 45 minutes under normal conditions. Traffic through the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge can slow that window during peak hours and around major events in either city.
A full-size charter bus with onboard restrooms handles the trip comfortably for groups of 40 or more, while a minibus is the right fit for smaller groups making the same run. Call 833-458-7001 to price out the round trip.
Do buses serve venues outside Lafayette city limits?
Absolutely. Providers in the network serve all of Lafayette Parish and the broader Acadiana region — Broussard, Youngsville, Breaux Bridge, Carencro, Scott, New Iberia, Opelousas, and beyond. If your venue is in Vermilion Parish, St. Martin Parish, or anywhere across the corridor between Lafayette and Baton Rouge, you can enter the route into the quote form to see what's available.
How far in advance should I book?
For most events outside of peak season, 3–4 weeks of lead time is workable — though earlier always gives you better vehicle selection and pricing. For Mardi Gras, Festival International, and prom season (late April–May), book 2–3 months in advance. For major UL Lafayette home games and Cajundome concerts that sell out quickly, book as soon as your tickets are confirmed.
The earlier you lock in your date, the more options you'll have and the less you'll pay. Call 833-458-7001 right now to check availability for your date.
Popular Lafayette Party Bus Destinations
Lafayette groups head to a huge range of spots across Acadiana — stadiums, museums, historic sites, concert venues, and everything in between. A bus can go anywhere your group needs to go. These are some of the most common destinations, with the logistics detail that actually helps you plan.

Cajun Field
Home of the UL Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns, Cajun Field (201 Reinhardt Dr, Lafayette, LA 70506) seats 41,426 and hosts some of the loudest tailgate scenes in the Sun Belt Conference. On major game days — rivalry matchups, homecoming, bowl-eligible late-season games — parking in the on-campus lots along Reinhardt Drive fills by late morning, and Congress Street backs up significantly both pre- and post-game. The walk from remote satellite parking to the stadium entrance can run 15–20 minutes.
A charter bus or party bus drops your group near the stadium entrance and eliminates the post-game exit crawl entirely. Check official Cajun Field parking information before game day. Phone: (337) 482-1000

Cajundome and Cajundome Convention Center
The Cajundome (444 Cajundome Blvd, Lafayette, LA 70506) is Acadiana's primary large-event venue — an arena with capacity up to 13,000 that hosts UL Lafayette basketball, major touring concerts, WWE events, and the adjacent Convention Center for conferences and trade shows. Parking in the surrounding surface lots is plentiful for smaller events but stretches thin during sellout concerts, and the post-show exit on Cajundome Boulevard and Ambassador Caffery Parkway can hold traffic for 20–30 minutes. Convention groups appreciate a charter bus that stages at the Convention Center entrance and eliminates the need for multiple rental cars across multi-day conferences.
Review official Cajundome parking and directions before your visit. Phone: (337) 265-2100

Vermilionville Living History Museum
Vermilionville (300 Fisher Rd, Lafayette, LA 70508) is a 23-acre living history museum and folklife park set along the Vermilion River, depicting Cajun, Creole, and Native American life from the 1700s through the 1900s. It's a frequent destination for school field trips, cultural group tours, and wedding receptions — the grounds include indoor and outdoor event spaces that hold several hundred guests. Parking is available on-site, but school buses and charter buses should coordinate access through the group reservations team in advance.
Vermilionville is open Tuesday–Sunday; group tours require advance booking. Contact Vermilionville directly at (337) 233-4077 to confirm group logistics and parking. A minibus or charter bus handles the run from Lafayette hotels or schools without any logistical complexity.

Festival International de Louisiane
Festival International de Louisiane takes over Downtown Lafayette across five stages and the streets surrounding Parc International each April, drawing 300,000+ attendees over five days. Jefferson Street, Vermilion Street, and the surrounding blocks go largely car-free during the festival, and parking within reasonable walking distance is claimed early each day. Rideshare demand spikes dramatically during evening headliner sets, with wait times running 30–45 minutes after 10pm on peak nights.
A party bus or minibus drops your group near the festival perimeter in the morning and picks everyone up at a pre-arranged spot at the end of the night — no parking hunt, no rideshare wait. Book Festival International transportation at least 8–10 weeks out; the window fills fast. More info: (337) 232-8086

Acadian Cultural Center (Jean Lafitte National Historical Park)
The Acadian Cultural Center (501 Fisher Rd, Lafayette, LA 70508) is a National Park Service site operated as part of Jean Lafitte National Historical Park, dedicated to the history and culture of the Cajun people of the Atchafalaya Basin. The Lafayette center is temporarily closed due to air conditioning issues. Groups planning a heritage or school itinerary should contact the National Park Service before including the site.
The center sits adjacent to Vermilionville on Fisher Road, making the area easy to pair with a single-day school trip itinerary using one charter bus. Confirm current access at (337) 232-0789 before your visit.

Breaux Bridge and St. Martin Parish
Breaux Bridge — about 10 miles east of Lafayette on I-10 — bills itself as the Crawfish Capital of the World and hosts the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival each May, a major Louisiana food festival. The festival grounds at Parc Hardy (200 Parc Hardy Dr, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517) draw large crowds over a weekend, and the parking situation in downtown Breaux Bridge during the festival is genuinely difficult — the town's road grid wasn't built for that volume. A party bus or charter bus staging in Lafayette and running shuttle loops to Parc Hardy is a far cleaner solution than trying to park at the venue.
The broader St. Martin Parish corridor — including Henderson and the Atchafalaya Basin — is also a popular day-trip destination for group swamp tours. Call 833-458-7001 for Breaux Bridge festival transportation pricing.
