Common Savannah Party Bus and Charter Bus Amenities
Not every Savannah trip calls for the same ride. A bachelorette crawl down Congress Street has different needs than a corporate shuttle between the Savannah Convention Center and a Southside hotel block.
Party buses (15–50 passengers) typically come stocked with a full-length bar setup, color-changing LED lighting, Bluetooth sound, flat-panel TVs, and wraparound perimeter seating — built for a celebration before you ever arrive. Minibuses are a clean, comfortable fit for wedding guest shuttles and field trips, with reclining seats and powerful A/C for Savannah's summer heat. Charter buses add undercarriage luggage bays, onboard restrooms, overhead storage, and WiFi — ideal for longer hauls to Atlanta or Jacksonville.
Check out our party bus amenities guide and charter bus amenities breakdown to match the right features to your trip.
Air-conditioning
Wraparound Leather Seats
AUX / Bluetooth Sound System
LED and Fiber Optic Lighting
Built-in Bar Areas With Ice Storage and Cup Holders

Amenities listed above are common features that MAY be available on party buses. Because we are a referral website and do NOT own or operate buses, exact features vary by vehicle, provider, and availability. After you submit your quote request, you can browse vehicle options, pricing, and available details on the results page. Savannah Party Bus Rates Built for Your Budget
Savannah party bus and charter bus rental prices shift based on vehicle size, the date, and how long you need the bus. To give you a planning baseline: 14-passenger Sprinter limos typically run $150–$300/hour; 15–20 passenger party buses run $175–$350/hour; 20–30 passenger party buses run $225–$400/hour; 35–50 passenger party buses and minibuses run $275–$475/hour; and full-size charter buses run $125–$275/hour or $1,100–$2,200/day.
These are example ranges to help you plan — your actual price moves with your date, the specific vehicle, hours needed, and current demand. St. Patrick's Day week (Savannah draws over 400,000 visitors each March), prom season, and peak wedding weekends all push pricing and availability fast. The fastest way to see what your specific trip costs is to call 833-458-7001 or use the online quote tool — pricing for your trip in about a minute.

Stop Calling Around — Compare Savannah Party Buses Here
Because searching for group transportation in Savannah shouldn't take all afternoon. The traditional route — googling bus companies, calling each one during business hours, describing your trip from scratch, waiting on callbacks, and then trying to compare quotes that aren't even apples-to-apples — is a real hassle. Partybus-rental.net replaces all of that with one form and one call.
Here's what that actually means for you: instead of being limited to whoever picks up the phone first, you see options from across a large network of providers serving Savannah — different vehicle types, different price points, different availability windows. You're comparing, not just accepting.
Whether you need one minibus for a Savannah wedding shuttle or a fleet of charter buses for a conference at the Savannah Convention Center (1 International Drive), Partybus-rental.net can handle the scope. Custom packages — one-ways, round-trips, multi-day itineraries — are all on the table. And because the quote tool runs 24 hours a day, you don't have to wait for a business to open.

Savannah Party Bus Rentals for Your Occasion
From airport pickups at Savannah/Hilton Head International to bachelorette nights on River Street, St. Patrick's Day shuttles, wedding guest transfers to Tybee Island, and school field trips to Wormsloe Historic Site — Partybus-rental.net covers every occasion a Savannah group has. Call 833-458-7001 or use the online form to find the right bus for your event today!

Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport Group Shuttles
Airport transportation for groups is where coordination really matters. Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) (400 Airways Ave, Savannah, GA 31408) sits about 8 miles northwest of downtown on I-16, and while the drive itself isn't long, juggling baggage claim across multiple flights, multiple cars, and Abercorn Street traffic is a genuine headache — especially for a large wedding party or corporate group arriving on different flights.
The practical move: have your group coordinator confirm everyone has their bags and is assembled curbside on the Arrivals level before calling for the bus to pull forward. Commercial vehicles use the designated ground transportation lane at the terminal's lower level. For cruise groups connecting to the Georgia Ports Authority terminal on Ocean Terminal Road, a direct charter bus from SAV eliminates the scramble of renting multiple cars or waiting on rideshare surge pricing.
Check the official SAV ground transportation page before arrival to confirm current commercial pickup procedures, then call 833-458-7001 to set up your Savannah airport group shuttle.

Savannah Bachelorette and Bachelor Party Bus Rentals
Savannah is one of the most popular bachelorette destination cities in the Southeast — and it earns that reputation. Open container laws in the Historic District mean the party can move with the group from bar to bar, and the walkable layout of the squares makes it easy to hit a dozen stops in one night. The catch: Savannah's cobblestone streets and one-way square grid are notoriously confusing to first-timers after a few cocktails, and rideshare demand spikes on weekend nights downtown.
A 15- to 25-passenger party bus keeps the whole group moving together between spots like The Waving Girl Brewing Co. (405 W River St), Rocks on the Roof at the Bohemian Hotel (102 W Bay St), and late-night stops at Wet Willie's (101 E River St) or McDonough's Restaurant & Lounge (21 E McDonough St) — with LED lighting and sound built right in for the ride itself. A party bus rental through Partybus-rental.net means your group stays together from the hotel pickup to the last stop, no one gets separated on Congress Street, and you're not paying surge pricing for six separate rideshares at 1am. Call 833-458-7001 to start planning!

Birthday, Sweet 16, and Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals in Savannah
A Savannah birthday party bus rental makes the arrival as much of an event as the destination. Whether the celebration heads to a private event space at The Desoto Hotel (15 E Liberty St, Savannah, GA 31401) or a family-style dinner at a Broughton Street restaurant, a 15- to 50-passenger party bus sets the tone from the first pickup — with color-changing LED lighting and a sound system that keeps the energy up before you even walk in the door.
For Sweet 16s and quinceañeras, white, black, or silver buses are often available on request to match the event theme. Savannah venues like Savannah Station (601 Cohen St) and the ballroom spaces inside the DeSoto fill up fast on Saturday nights in spring and fall, which means your bus — and your table — should be locked in early. Per-person math works in your favor, too: a 40-passenger bus at roughly $300–$400/hour splits to under $10/person per hour, which is less than the parking cost for everyone to drive separately to a downtown venue with metered street spots and no free lots.
Call 833-458-7001 to check availability!

Live Music and Concert Bus Rentals in Savannah
Savannah's live music scene runs from the intimate stages of Congress Street to outdoor festivals that shut down entire corridors of the Historic District. The Savannah St. Patrick's Day Festival each March transforms River Street, City Market, and Bull Street into a pedestrian-only zone with no vehicle access — which means if your group isn't on a pre-arranged bus, you're parking miles away and walking. A concert and event party bus rental drops your group at a staging point on the perimeter of the closure zone and picks everyone up at a pre-set time, so no one is hunting for their car at midnight on Bull Street.
The Savannah Music Festival each spring draws national acts to multiple venues across the Historic District simultaneously, and parking enforcement in the squares ramps up significantly during festival weeks. For shows at venues like Trustees Theater (216 E Broughton St, Savannah, GA 31401) or outdoor events at Forsyth Park, a bus drops your group at the nearest cross-street and stages nearby — no meters, no garages, no scramble after the last song. Call 833-458-7001 to compare Savannah concert bus options.

Corporate Shuttles and Event Transportation in Savannah
The Savannah Convention Center (1 International Drive, Savannah, GA 31402) sits on Hutchinson Island, connected to the Historic District by the Talmadge Memorial Bridge — which means every attendee driving themselves has to cross that bridge and deal with limited on-island parking. For large conferences, charter bus shuttles between the Convention Center and downtown hotel blocks on Bay Street or Drayton Street eliminate that bridge bottleneck entirely and keep your attendees on schedule.
The Savannah area's industrial corridor — including the Georgia Ports Authority's massive Garden City Terminal (the fourth-busiest container port in the US) — also generates significant demand for employee shuttle routes along I-16 and Ga-21. Minibuses handle executive airport transfers between SAV and Southside office parks cleanly, with reclining seats and climate control. For larger teams heading to off-site events, a corporate event charter bus with WiFi and power outlets at every seat keeps your team productive on the ride.
Call 833-458-7001 to discuss Savannah corporate shuttle contracts and multi-day rates.

Private Event Transportation in Savannah
Savannah's event calendar generates some genuinely high-demand transportation windows. St. Patrick's Day — Savannah's version draws 400,000+ visitors annually, ranking it among the largest celebrations in the country — effectively closes the Historic District to personal vehicles from the morning of March 17th through evening. Parking garages fill before 8am.
Rideshare surge pricing runs 3–5x for most of the day. A pre-arranged private charter bus or party bus stages outside the closure zone and drops your group at the perimeter, so you walk in rather than compete for parking that doesn't exist.
The Savannah Film Festival each October, hosted by SCAD, draws large industry groups to screenings across multiple Historic District venues simultaneously. Family reunions hitting multiple locations in one day — the Telfair Museums, lunch in City Market, an afternoon at Forsyth Park — are a natural fit for a minibus that keeps everyone on the same schedule without juggling a caravan. For any private event overlapping with a major Savannah festival weekend, book 6–8 weeks out minimum.
Call 833-458-7001 to start comparing options.

Prom and Homecoming Party Bus Rentals in Savannah
Prom season runs late April through May across the Savannah-Chatham County school district and surrounding counties including Effingham, Bryan, and Liberty — a tight six-week window where demand for party buses and minibuses in the Savannah area spikes sharply. Book by January for a May prom or expect premium pricing and limited vehicle selection by the time March hits.
A Savannah prom party bus is the practical choice for a group that wants a memorable entrance without anyone's parent playing designated driver all night. Most prom venues — hotels along Bay Street, ballrooms in Southside Savannah — have designated bus and van drop-off areas on their service drives. Confirm your venue's commercial vehicle access with the venue coordinator ahead of time so pickup and drop-off runs smoothly.
Partybus-rental.net makes it simple to compare bus sizes for your headcount, check pricing, and lock in your date before the calendar fills up. Call 833-458-7001 as early as possible!

Savannah School Field Trips and Group Bus Rentals
Savannah is genuinely one of the richest field trip destinations in the Southeast — between Wormsloe Historic Site (7601 Skidaway Rd, Savannah, GA 31406), the Telfair Museums (207 W York St), Old Fort Jackson (1 Fort Jackson Rd), and the Georgia State Railroad Museum (655 Louisville Rd, Savannah, GA 31401), a single school day can cover colonial history, maritime history, and industrial history without leaving Chatham County.
A Savannah school event charter bus solves the carpooling coordination problem immediately — one vehicle, one pickup, one drop-off, every student accounted for. Charter buses with overhead storage handle lunchboxes, backpacks, and project materials without the scramble. Select vehicles include onboard restrooms, which matter on the longer drive out to Savannah National Wildlife Refuge on US-17.
ADA-accessible buses are available through the network — just mention it when you request your quote. Wormsloe and Fort Jackson both have bus parking on-site; confirm group entry procedures with each venue ahead of your visit. Call 833-458-7001 to build a quote for your school group.

Savannah Sporting Event Party Bus and Charter Bus Rentals
The Savannah Bananas play at Grayson Stadium (1401 E Victory Dr, Savannah, GA 31404) in Daffin Park, one of the oldest minor-league ballparks in the country. Games sell out fast — the Bananas have been one of the most in-demand live sports experiences in the country for the past several years — and Victory Drive parking fills up early on game nights. Rideshare demand around Daffin Park spikes significantly at final out, with the closest pickup zone requiring a walk through the park.
A Savannah sporting event party bus keeps your tailgate group together from the first pickup to the last out. The bus stages in the Daffin Park lot or on a nearby side street off Victory Drive while your group is inside, so exit is immediate — no post-game rideshare wait, no long walk to a distant lot. For Georgia Southern Eagles fans making the trip down US-280 to Statesboro's Paulson Stadium (about 50 miles west), a charter bus turns the drive into a pregame event rather than a chore.
Call 833-458-7001 to price your game-day group transportation!

Savannah Wedding Shuttles and Transportation
Savannah wedding venues create a real transportation puzzle. Many of the most sought-after ceremony and reception locations — Forsyth Park, The Kehoe House (123 Habersham St), Whitefield Chapel at Bethesda (9520 Ferguson Ave, Savannah, GA 31406), and plantation-style venues outside the Historic District — are spread across the city or beyond it entirely. Tybee Island weddings add a 20-minute causeway drive along US-80 where parking at Tybee Island Wedding Chapel or oceanfront reception venues is genuinely scarce on Saturday afternoons.
A Savannah wedding shuttle solves the logistics without guests needing to figure out parking on their own. A minibus running a loop between a downtown hotel block and the reception venue keeps your timeline tight and your guests — including older relatives and out-of-towners who've never navigated Savannah's one-way square grid — relaxed and on schedule. A 14-passenger Sprinter limo handles the bridal party pickup in style.
Because wedding dates in Savannah book out months in advance, especially in the April–June and September–November peak seasons, locking in transportation well ahead of the ceremony date is strongly advised. Call 833-458-7001 to build your wedding transportation plan.

Savannah Distillery Tours, Pub Crawls, and Brewery Bus Rentals
Savannah has developed a legitimate craft beverage scene that pairs naturally with a guided group tour — and the Historic District's open container laws make the whole experience even more flexible for groups moving between stops. A Savannah pub crawl bus rental keeps the group together and the itinerary moving.
Popular stops include Savannah Craft Brewery (420 Paradox Ln, Savannah, GA 31415), Service Brewing Company (574 Indian St, Savannah, GA 31401) in the historic Starland District, and Two Tides Brewing (12 W 41st St, Savannah, GA 31401) — a neighborhood taproom with a lush, mural-lined outdoor space. The Savannah Whiskey Company (105 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd) and the Ghost Coast Distillery (641 Indian St, Savannah, GA 31401) round out a solid spirits crawl through Starland and Midtown. Parking in the Starland District is almost entirely street parking, and on weekend evenings it fills by 7pm.
A party bus drops your group at each stop and circles back on your timeline — no one is the designated navigator, every stop is a full stop, and nobody is splitting off in a separate car. Call 833-458-7001 to start building your Savannah tour itinerary!

Frequently Asked Questions About Savannah Party Bus Rentals
How does this website work?
Partybus-rental.net helps you compare bus rental options; it is not the bus company and does not rent, own, or operate vehicles. When you submit the quote form, your trip details go through a booking company so you can review pricing and available vehicles for your date. You compare the options and book through the process shown with your quote.
How much does a party bus cost in Savannah, Georgia?
Savannah party bus rental prices vary by vehicle size, the date, and rental duration. As a general range: Sprinter limos (14 passengers) run $150–$300/hour; small party buses (15–20 passengers) run $175–$350/hour; mid-size party buses (20–30 passengers) run $225–$400/hour; larger party buses and minibuses (35–50 passengers) run $275–$475/hour; and full-size charter buses run $125–$275/hour or $1,100–$2,200/day. These are planning ranges — your actual price depends on your specific date, vehicle, and hours.
St. Patrick's Day week and prom season are the two windows where Savannah pricing and availability move fastest. For your quote, call 833-458-7001 or use the online quote tool — pricing for your trip in about a minute.
What is Partybus-rental.net?
Partybus-rental.net is a quote-comparison and referral website — not a bus company. It doesn't own vehicles or operate trips. It's a website that makes it easy to fill out one form and compare pricing and vehicle options from a large network of transportation providers serving your area, so you're never limited to one fleet.
Instead of calling company after company and waiting on callbacks, you see multiple options in one place, instantly. That's the whole point.
Can a charter bus drive on Savannah's Historic District streets near the squares?
This is one of the most practical questions for Savannah group trips. The Historic District's one-way street grid around the squares is navigable for commercial buses, but full-size 45-foot charter buses have limited access in the tightest corridors near the waterfront and around smaller squares. Minibuses and mid-size party buses (up to 35 passengers) handle the narrow cross-streets and one-way grid much more cleanly than a full-size coach.
For events centered right in the Historic District — River Street, City Market, Forsyth Park — a 20–35 passenger minibus or party bus is typically the smarter fit. When you call 833-458-7001, mention your specific pickup and drop-off addresses so the right vehicle size gets matched to your route.
When is the busiest time of year for party bus rentals in Savannah?
St. Patrick's Day week (the week of March 17th) is by far the single busiest transportation window in Savannah — the city draws over 400,000 visitors for what is consistently ranked as one of the largest St. Patrick's Day celebrations in the country. Bus availability for that week fills months in advance, and pricing reflects demand. The spring prom window (April–May), peak wedding season (April–June and September–November), and the Savannah Music Festival (late March/early April) are the next busiest periods.
If your trip falls in any of those windows, booking 3–6 months out is the right call. For St. Patrick's Day specifically, booking as early as October or November for the following March is not unreasonable.
Does a bus drop off directly at Tybee Island venues?
Yes — buses regularly make the run out US-80 to Tybee Island for weddings, beach parties, and group events. The causeway drive is about 20 minutes from the Historic District in normal traffic. On summer weekends and major event dates, US-80 eastbound backs up significantly in the late afternoon, and Tybee Island's parking is limited to small surface lots near the beach and lighthouse.
A charter bus or minibus drops your group at the venue entrance and the group doesn't need to compete for the handful of parking spots near Tybee's main beach access. Confirm your specific venue's bus access and any on-site staging area before the trip — Tybee's residential streets are narrow and some require advance coordination for commercial vehicles. Call 833-458-7001 to discuss your Tybee Island group trip.
How far is Savannah from other major cities, and can a charter bus make the drive?
Yes — charter buses from Savannah handle regional trips easily. Savannah to Charleston, SC is about 110 miles north on I-95 (roughly 2 hours). Savannah to Jacksonville, FL is about 140 miles south on I-95 (roughly 2 hours).
Savannah to Atlanta is about 250 miles west on I-16 and I-75 (roughly 4 hours). These drives are all well within standard charter bus range and are popular for corporate retreats, sports fan travel, and extended group itineraries. A 56-passenger charter bus with onboard restrooms and luggage bays in the undercarriage makes these trips genuinely comfortable for the whole group.
Call 833-458-7001 to price a multi-city route from Savannah.
How far in advance should I book?
For most Savannah events outside peak periods, 4–8 weeks of lead time is workable and gives you good selection. For anything touching St. Patrick's Day week, prom season, peak wedding weekends (spring and fall), or major SCAD event weekends — book 3–6 months out. St. Patrick's Day specifically warrants booking as early as the previous fall.
The practical rule: as soon as your headcount is confirmed and your date is set, that's the right time to call. Waiting adds cost and shrinks your choices. Call 833-458-7001 right now to lock in your date!
Popular Savannah Party Bus Destinations
Savannah groups head everywhere from the Georgia coast to the Lowcountry, and a bus makes every stop easier. Below are six destinations that consistently show up on group itineraries in the area — with the logistics detail that actually matters when you're moving a group. If your destination isn't listed here, that's no problem.
A bus is available to any location in the region.

River Street and the Savannah Waterfront
River Street runs along the Savannah River below Bay Street, accessed by a steep cobblestone ramp from Factor's Walk — and that descent is the first thing to know about commercial vehicle access. Full-size charter buses cannot navigate the ramp to River Street itself; bus drop-off happens on Bay Street at the top, with the group walking down the ramps or using the elevator access near City Hall (2 E Bay St). The waterfront strip runs about nine blocks and holds dozens of restaurants, bars, and live music venues.
On St. Patrick's Day, Bay Street and River Street are closed to all vehicles by early morning, so pre-arranged perimeter drop-off — typically on Whitaker or Drayton — is the only option. Spring and fall weekend nights consistently see elevated rideshare demand along Bay Street after 10pm.
Address: River Street, Savannah, GA 31401

Forsyth Park
Forsyth Park (Gaston St & Drayton St, Savannah, GA 31401) is Savannah's largest and most-used public park — 30 acres anchored by the landmark fountain at its north end, surrounded by antebellum homes. It's a primary venue for the Savannah Jazz Festival (free, held each September), outdoor concerts, and large private events including weddings. Vehicle access around the park perimeter is governed by the Historic District's one-way grid; Drayton Street on the east side and Whitaker Street on the west side handle most commercial drop-off traffic.
Bus staging works best along Gaston Street on the south end, away from the busiest fountain-adjacent foot traffic. Street parking around the park fills quickly on event days — groups trying to drive and park here on a Saturday afternoon during wedding season are typically circling for 20+ minutes.
Address: Forsyth Park, Savannah, GA 31401 | Phone: (912) 351-3841

Wormsloe Historic Site
Wormsloe Historic Site (7601 Skidaway Rd, Savannah, GA 31406) is one of the most photographed locations in Georgia — a 1.5-mile-long avenue of 400 live oaks draped in Spanish moss, leading to the tabby ruins of one of the oldest surviving structures in Georgia, built by Noble Jones in the early 1700s. The Georgia Department of Natural Resources operates Wormsloe as a state historic site; admission is $10 adults, $5 children (ages 6–18), with group rates available by advance arrangement. Bus and large vehicle parking is available in the main lot at the entrance off Skidaway Road.
The site sits about 9 miles southeast of the Historic District. Hours and seasonal programming change, so confirm current access through the official Wormsloe State Historic Site page before visiting with a group.
Address: 7601 Skidaway Rd, Savannah, GA 31406 | Phone: (912) 353-3023

Savannah Convention Center
The Savannah Convention Center (1 International Drive, Savannah, GA 31402) is a 330,000 square-foot facility on Hutchinson Island — directly across the Savannah River from the Historic District, accessed via the Talmadge Memorial Bridge or the Savannah Belles Ferry from the River Street waterfront. The bridge approach and the limited surface parking on Hutchinson Island create a real bottleneck for conference attendees driving individually, particularly during large citywide conventions. Charter bus shuttles between the Convention Center and downtown hotel blocks on Bay Street or Drayton Street bypass the bridge backup entirely and run on a fixed interval your attendees can plan around.
The ferry is a scenic option for smaller groups, but it runs on a schedule and doesn't accommodate luggage well for large delegations. Confirm current Convention Center bus staging and commercial vehicle procedures through the official Savannah Convention Center website.
Address: 1 International Drive, Savannah, GA 31402 | Phone: (912) 447-4000

Georgia State Railroad Museum
The Georgia State Railroad Museum (655 Louisville Rd, Savannah, GA 31401) is the largest and most intact antebellum railroad repair facility in the country — a working roundhouse complex dating to 1853, now operated as a heritage museum by the Coastal Heritage Society. It's a standout field trip and group tour destination, and one that most out-of-towners don't know sits just west of downtown Savannah near the intersection of Louisville Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The museum has on-site parking with space for charter buses in the main lot off Louisville Road.
Group admission rates are available; book group visits in advance through the museum. Current hours and admission pricing are available on the official Coastal Heritage Society page. From downtown Savannah, the drive is under 10 minutes.
Address: 655 Louisville Rd, Savannah, GA 31401 | Phone: (912) 651-6823

Tybee Island
Tybee Island sits 18 miles east of downtown Savannah at the end of US-80 — a barrier island with a wide public beach, the historic Tybee Island Light Station & Museum (30 Meddin Dr, Tybee Island, GA 31328), and a strip of beach bars and restaurants along Butler Avenue. It's a natural group destination for beach days, bachelorette weekends, and post-wedding celebrations. The logistical reality: US-80 is a two-lane causeway with no alternate route, and on summer weekends and holiday Mondays it backs up significantly in both directions.
Tybee's parking is metered surface lots near the beach with no large garages — groups of 10+ trying to drive and park separately on a July Saturday afternoon are looking at $5–$7/hour per car in the main lot, assuming they find space. A minibus or party bus handles the US-80 run comfortably and drops your group at Butler Avenue, so everyone arrives together. Check the official City of Tybee Island page for current beach access and parking updates.
